Meet Sarah Barnard
A Pacific Northwest native who treats every client — and every home — with the same care, whether it's a first condo or a waterfront estate.
Her story
Local roots, a global network, and a genuine love for this place.
Sarah grew up on Mercer Island and, after high school, traveled widely — through Europe and Egypt — an education that sharpened both her appreciation for different cultures and her eye for luxury. She earned her first real estate license in Honolulu in 2003, then returned home to Seattle in 2009, where she's become a trusted, distinguished broker.
Today, with 22 years of experience and a boutique-luxury practice at Marketplace Sotheby's International Realty, Sarah serves clients across King, Snohomish, and Island Counties — from North Capitol Hill and Kirkland to Bothell, Everett, and the islands.
Marketplace Sotheby's International Realty — 1,100 offices across 86 countries.
How she works
Showroom-quality marketing. Genuinely steady guidance.
Sarah's listings stand out — dynamic video, drone photography, and exquisite imagery, produced with some of the region's best stagers. Just as importantly, she coordinates the entire sale from first walk-through to closing day, so the process feels seamless and stress-free.
Her approach is deliberately client-centered: every client gets the same effort and respect, regardless of price point or background. It's why families going through major transitions — estates, downsizing, big life changes — return to her and refer her.

Off the clock
Rooted in the outdoors she sells.
When she's not with clients, Sarah is usually outside — hiking, in the garden, or with her dogs — and always chasing something new to learn. That love of the Pacific Northwest and habit of continuous improvement are the same things she brings to every transaction.
